Gameplay style.

Will the play style be like SSB or something like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, or Tekken?

I planned it to be just like SSF2, except on a quest, not against each other.

Yeah, sorta. You see, we're not just going from stage-to-stage. There will be paths you have to walk along, beating enemy's as you travel to each stage.

You want to know what I find ironic about the stage? The sign in front of the two trees. It says "Twin Pines" yet those aren't even pine trees.

How about adding the bridge with the leaping fish somewhere in the stage? Remember that? Good times. They could work as a great stage hazard.
